Creative Arts Camp – Policies & Guidelines
Welcome to Creative Arts Camp where kids aged 6–12 explore imagination, movement, and discovery through arts & crafts, acrobatics, active games, outdoor fun, and easy science experiments!
Please review the following policies to ensure a safe, smooth, and fun experience for everyone.
🕒 Camp Schedule
Camp Hours:
Morning Session 8 am - 12 pm, Monday through Friday
- Drop-Off: Begins at 7:30 am - 8 am
- Pick-Up: 12 pm - 12:30 pm
Afternoon Session 12 pm - 4 pm, Monday to Friday
- Drop-Off: Begins at 12 pm - 12:30 pm
- Pick-Up: 4 pm - 4:30 pm
- Late pick-ups may incur a fee of $10 per 15 minutes.
🧾 Registration & Booking
- You may book your child's spot no later than 2 days before camp begins.
- Registration is closed once camp starts — we do not accept late enrollments.
- A completed registration form and payment are required to confirm your spot.
💸 Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancel 2 weeks or more before camp: Full refund
- Cancel 1 week before camp: 50% refund
- Cancel 2 days or less before camp: No refund
Please notify us via email to process a cancellation.
💬 Communication
- Weekly emails will be sent with updates, reminders, and special instructions.
- For urgent matters, contact us directly at dance@moonlight-studio.ca.
- Please ensure we have your current contact information on file.
💼 What to Bring Daily
- Comfortable clothes for creative play and movement
- Refillable water bottle
- Packed lunch and snacks (nut-free if allergy restrictions apply)
- Hat and sunscreen for outdoor activities
- A change of clothes (recommended)
Please label all belongings clearly with your child’s name.
🚫 What to Leave at Home
- Personal electronics, toys, or valuables
- Any item not related to camp activities unless approved by staff
🧒 Behaviour Expectations
We create a positive and respectful environment. Campers are expected to:
- Treat others with kindness and respect
- Follow directions from instructors and staff
- Participate safely in all activities
Bullying, aggressive behaviour, or repeated disruptions may result in dismissal without a refund.
💊 Health & Safety
- Children showing signs of illness (fever, vomiting, contagious conditions) must stay home.
- If a child becomes unwell at camp, parents will be called for immediate pick-up.
- Staff are certified in basic First Aid and CPR.
- Emergency drills may be conducted during camp sessions.
💊 Medication
- We do not administer medication unless a Medical Authorisation Form is completed.
- All medications must be labelled and in original packaging.
📸 Photo & Video Release
Photos and videos may be taken during camp activities for promotional purposes.
If you do not consent, please notify us in writing before camp begins.
Liability Disclaimer
Participation in Creative Arts Camp involves active play, movement, and physical activities. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure a safe and supervised environment, parents and guardians understand and accept that there is always a risk of injury during camp activities.
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that Moonlight Studio and all associated staff are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur during camp, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is physically able to participate in the activities offered. If you have any concerns about specific activities, please contact us in advance.
